Challenge

University of Connecticut's department for Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) research needed a site for connecting people around the world who are using NMR software.  It was essential to provide an intuitive user experience to help scientists using NMR to address a broad variety of use cases find the best software for their projects, share research and learn from others in the community.  This project was a collaboration with M, Inc. which was responsible for graphics and art direction.

Process

design sprints, using a combination of low-fidelity and web application prototypes to facilitate multiple rounds of client feedback and fluid design iteration

1 - ideal customer profiles

we brought ideas to life in our front-end app for interactive testing & refinement

2 - storyboard sketches

used to illustrate initial design ideas during team brainstorm sessions

3 - storyboards

helped communicate design ideas to a broader group of people for feedback

4 - web app prototype

we brought ideas to life in our front-end app for interactive testing & refinement
